Our Tale

Arima Thumbi was built near St. Thomas Mount, Chennai 200 years ago in colonial style during the times of the British Raj. Initially a family home for the garrison staff in an Anglo-Indian neighbourhood, the house was later bought by the Hart family who added another wing to the building before they sold the property to the current owners in recent years. The property was dilapidated, in tatters and was then beautifully renovated and restored showcasing its vintage old-world charm by its owner, Ksheer Vasudha to become a truly exquisite classical event venue that oozes character and ambiance to make your event unforgettable.
